Ratiometer - CM3100


Current ranges

The CM2100A  Photodiode Amplifier and the CM3100 Ratiometer have 8 full scale ranges from 20na to 200ma. With a noise level of just 10pa, and an overload protected virtual ground input, high accuracy measurements can be made in a variety of applications.

Analog

The analog output gives a 2 Volt output corresponding to the full scale range selected. The output is buffered for loads up to 50 ohms allowing direct driving of oscilloscopes and recorders. The 200 kHz maximum bandwidth is one of the highest available. Amplified analog outputs designed to drive 50 ohm loads are provided for each channel independently and for the ratio of channel 1 to 2 on the CM3100.

Displays

The CM2100A and CM3100 both have digital display and an analog meter is also on the CM2100a. The bright 3 1/2 digit LED display is easy to read even across the room. The 1 1/2" analog meter shows the magnitude of the input signal. This is ideal for tuning or whenever a minimum or maximum has to be found. A front panel switch changes the display on the CM3100 from channel 1 to channel 2 or the ratio of 1 to 2.

Display intensity (Cm3100)

For those times when you don't want a bright display, dim and blank modes can be selected from the front panel. In the blank mode the digital display and panel lights are turned off but the analog output is normal and the meter continues to run.

Line operated

120 volt ( 230vac optional) power eliminates the need and inconvenience of replacing batteries and permits unlimited operation at full power.
